What is the single most important breed feature judges should consider when judging the Toy Fox Terrier?
The up-on-leg square “box” profile is the first thing a judge sees. If the box is a rectangle instead of a square, is means the back is too long. If the tail is low-set, it will look like that corner of the “box” got dented. <smile>
...the most common breed fault judges should note before awarding ribbons?
Weaving, crossing over, toeing in (front or rear) is a common fault seen on the down and back; lack of extension and rear drive on the go-around. The Toy Fox Terrier is first a terrier (UKC Terrier Group) and secondly, he's a toy breed with all of the bonding attributes of toy dogs.
